Yesterday Emily attended the 3rd Annual American Institute for Stuttering Benefit Gala on a roof top in New York! Pictures have been added to the gallery, looks like Emily still has her red hair from the filming of Gulliver’s Travels!

Variety is reporting that in November, just before the release of Wolf Man, Emily will be presented with “British Artist of the Year” from BAFTA in Los Angeles.
The British Academy of Film and Television/Los Angeles will honor Emily Blunt as British artist of the year at its annual gala presentation Nov. 5 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in L.A.
Previous winners include Rachel Weisz, Kate Winslet and last year’s recipient, Tilda Swinton.

According to The Hollywood Reporter Anchor Bay Films has acquired the rights to show Sunshine Cleaning in the UK! I’m really happy about this, I’ve been wanting to see it for ages! Apparently it will be released in cinemas in the “summer”.
Anchor Bay Films has acquired all U.K. distribution rights, including theatrical and home entertainment, to Hanway Films’ dramatic comedy, “Sunshine Cleaning.” Anchor Bay will release the film theatrically in the U.K. this summer with a DVD release to follow in the autumn.

Though she’s played some forbidding characters on-screen (including her breakout role in The Devil Wears Prada), it’s easy to fall for Emily Blunt. For me, affection came instantly over lunch at the Chateau Marmont as Blunt picked up a menu and cried out, “Arugula and bacon-wrapped dates! Have you had them?”
