The Wolf Man Pushed Back

On Tuesday Universal announced that The Wolf Man will now be released in 2010. The film had an original release date of April 3, 2009, it was then pushed to November 6th and now the new official release date will be February 12, 2010.

The Examiner – Universal’s decision to push back the release date again, as well as The Wolf Man’s film’s noticeable absence from last week’s San Diego Comic-Con, has raised serious concerns. February has long been considered Hollywood’s dumping grounds for bad movies.

The Adjustment Bureau – New Project?

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Emily has signed onto a new project for Universal titled The Adjustment Bureau. She will apparently join Matt Damon in the  sci-fi love story directed by George Nolfi.

The story, which Nolfi adapted from a Philip K. Dick short story, follows a congressman (Damon), on the rise in politics, who meets a beautiful ballet dancer only to discover strange circumstances keep them apart.

Blunt is playing the dancer.

The Young Victoria is available to buy on DVD in the UK today! I have already been out and bought my copy and here are some screen captures from the special features! The features were great on this dvd, with nearly half an hour of deleted scenes footage! Screen captures of the main movie will follow shortly.

Wolf Man Re-Shoots

The Daily Mail is reporting that The Wolf Man has undergone some weeks of reshoots. Apparently film makers weren’t happy with the way the Wolf looked and so they have redesigned it!

Benicio Del Toro flew to the UK for the re-shoots. Emily Blunt had more limited availability due to filming for Gulliver’s Travels and Anthony Hopkins couldn’t return to London so he did his additional filming in LA.

Anchor Bay takes U.K. rights for ‘Cleaning’

According to The Hollywood Reporter Anchor Bay Films has acquired the rights to show Sunshine Cleaning in the UK! I’m really happy about this, I’ve been wanting to see it for ages! Apparently it will be released in cinemas in the “summer”.

Anchor Bay Films has acquired all U.K. distribution rights, including theatrical and home entertainment, to Hanway Films’ dramatic comedy, “Sunshine Cleaning.” Anchor Bay will release the film theatrically in the U.K. this summer with a DVD release to follow in the autumn.
